ANOTHER VIEW

ANOTHER VIEW of the lighted marquee sign installed last week on Hennessey Public School’s Eagle Event Center (see related photos on Page 1). The two-story facility includes a basketball court, four locker rooms, training rooms, coaching and administrative offices. Hennessey United board members recently toured the facility, which also will serve as a safe room for all school students and the community. The doors to the building will automatically open when there is a tornado alert, Jack Quirk told board members. United members on the tour were Stacy Cline (president), Teresa Oliver (vice president), Tammy Henderson (treasurer), Cathy Howard (secretary), Dagan Hardin, Kaden Mitchell, Mariana Gonzalez and Barb Walter.
