Baby’s death leads to daycare inquiry

The death of a 6-month-old boy with local ties last week has led to the investigation of a Warr Acres daycare center. Liam Farrar, the son of Daniel and Alyssa Farrar of Piedmont, died Wednesday at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he had been hospitalized since Feb. 21.

Hennessey T-Ball League sign-up set Wednesday

Voter registration deadline Friday

The last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the April 2 election is this week, Kingfisher County Election Board Secretary Shawna Butts reminded.That deadline is Friday, March 8.

Premium auction brings $165,400

Bidders set a new record, $165,400, Monday in buying premiums at the auction concluding the 89th annual Kingfisher County Spring Stock Show. The premium sale provides bonus money to the exhibitors on top of premiums paid by the show sponsors.
