April showers delivered across county

Timely April showers visited Kingfisher County beginning Friday and lasted through Sunday morning.The showers produced moisture ranging from 1.3 inches at the Mike Rosen residence one mile east of Kingfisher to three inches at the Rick and Robin Johnston residence northwest of Dover.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Although signs state the ongoing resurfacing project on the Dover-Crescent Road could be completed by spring of this year, the job is still far from done a month into spring.

County OHCE members attend NW district meeting

“Soaring to New Heights with OHCE” was the theme of the district meeting of the Northwest Oklahoma Home & Community Education groups.Thirteen members from Kingfisher County attended the meeting held March 22 at Watonga High School.
