Tara Dawn Mayes Kinsel was born May 29, 1957, to Donald Mayes and Wanda Claunch.Tara entered her Heavenly home March 2, 2026, in Phoenix, Ariz., after a short illness.Tara loved a good adventure and she proved that by entering this world during the Dover flood of 1957.

Fred Henry Barker was born Oct. 4, 1942, to Wesley James and Nellie (Travis) Barker on a farm east of Dover and passed away March 7, 2026, in Kingfisher.He attended Dover Public School and graduated in 1960.In 1964, he married Claudette Wakeman and a 62year partnership began.

Sharon Elaine (Chalker) Gundlach, born Jan. 5, 1947, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026.A celebration of life was held Sunday, March 8, at Loyal United Methodist Church.

William Joseph “Billy” Gritz was born April 3, 1960, in Kingfisher to Dorothy (Brown) and William F. “Bill” Gritz.Billy passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, in Enid. He was 65.Billy grew up in Hennessey and graduated from Hennessey High School in 1978 and was a carpenter.

James Edward Baker was born Jan. 13, 1959, in Pauls Valley to Wesley and Shirley Baker. He passed away at his home in Cashion on March 1, 2026, at the age of 67.He was a longtime resident of Cashion and a 1977 graduate of Cashion High School.

Marilyn Ann (Marsh) Pickle was born July 22, 1934, to Edna Kehmier Marsh and Andrew Jackson Marsh in Enid and passed away at her home on March 4, 2026, with family by her side.

Stillwater resident Sharon Susan (Grellner) Burch, 63, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at her home.Following her wishes, no memorial service is planned at this time. Cremation is being handled by Strode Funeral Home and Cremation.Sharon was born Sept.

Donna Marjean Lann was born Oct. 19, 1935, in Drumright to James and Ella Erwin. She passed away peacefully on Feb. 25, 2026, in Kingfisher at the age of 90.Donna was raised in Drumright and graduated from Drumright High School.On Aug. 3, 1954, she married the love of her life, Claude Leo Lann.

Bernice Krittenbrink, 85, passed away on Feb. 23, 2026, in her hometown of Kingfisher.She was born on Oct. 12, 1940, in Kingfisher to Ewald and Mary Kuntz.Bernice attended Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School and later graduated from Kingfisher High School.

Susie Rice of Kingfisher returned peacefully to the Lord on Feb. 23, 2026.Born in Dallas, Texas, on April 24, 1951, but relocated later in life to Oklahoma with her husband, Tim, Susie considered Kingfisher to be her true home.
