Two people were injured in a recent automobile accident just south of Kingfisher’s city limits. Debra Kay Wagner, 56, of Okarche, and Scott Alan Hatcher, 57, of Bethany, were both listed in stable condition with multiple injuries after the accident, which occurred just after 1:30 p.m.

July sales tax checks were lower for all Kingfisher County towns except Loyal and Kingfisher. Loyal received an $8,192.87 check this month, based on a 4 percent rate, compared to a $1,451.44 check in July, 2018, based on a 2 percent tax rate.
