Okarche man dies in crash

An Okarche man was killed Tuesday morning after his car hydroplaned into a bridge railing and then was struck by a pickup truck on Interstate 40 in Yukon. Kenneth E. Stoner, 38, was pinned inside his vehicle for nearly two hours before being extricated by the Yukon Fire Department.

Plainview HCE members meet

Plainview HCE held its monthly meeting Monday, May 13, in the home of Linda Witt. Dana Golbek, president, brought the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. Members recited pledges to the American and Oklahoma flags followed by the devotion. Roll call was taken and the minutes were read.
