Okarche’s boys didn’t just qualify for the Class 2A state golf tournament.They made sure they went in as regional champs.The Warriors won a 2A regional Monday at the Jimmie Austin Golf Club in Seminole.Okarche shot a 36-hole total of 677 to defeat Nowata by four strokes. Fairland was third at 700.

Senior Luciano Orozco fired a 1-over-par 71 on Wednesday to win the individual championship of the Marlow High School Boys Invitational golf tournament.Orozco’s round featured four bogeys and three birdies and he played the backnine in 1-under par.
